In an Algeria where for a long time, FOSSILE energy has been the determining locomotive of industrial and agricultural development, as well as its main financial resource, it is urgent and imperative to elaborate a major development plan taking into account the global energy transition oriented more and more towards renewable energies.
We must now start thinking about adapting our production tool towards deep and structural changes, taking into account the priority of public authorities to rationalize energy consumption, which is becoming one of the determining criteria for the choice of future industrial facilities. This concern is of prime importance in the face of the forecasts announcing a gradual decline in fossil resources over the next decade.
We need to take a digital approach to launching a project to remotely monitor facilities in order to detect malfunctions at the right time and deploy corrective interventions within the required timeframe. This approach is increasingly operational in large foreign groups, through smart grids.
Isn't it the right time for the mobilization of all our resources and the adhesion of good wills to give back to the genius of the Algerian worker his letters of nobility and prepare him, harmoniously, to the necessity of an unavoidable modernization of the means of production within the framework of a thoughtful and sustained investment program outside hydrocarbons.
